As a registered charity, Rape Crisis England & Wales is managed by a voluntary Board of Trustees who all work in member centres either as staff, volunteers or members of management teams.

The Board members are elected by other rape crisis centres and represent rape crisis groups in regions, this way we ensure a broad countrywide perspective to our national work. At our Annual General Meeting, honorary and co-opted members are also elected.

Currently it is our aim that all commissioned projects or any additional funding for national work is managed directly by rape crisis centres and therefore we do not have a national office.

Rape Crisis England & Wales have commissioned two projects the Coordination Project and the Policy project. Both of these projects are managed directly by rape crisis centres in Cornwall and South Essex.
